Luke Skywalker
The Jedi Order was destroyed in 7958 (19 BBY), which was 24 years before the New Republic was formed. This was not the first time in history
that the Order was completely or nearly destroyed, and just as before, Jedi survivors were able to preserve their religion and pass it on to new
students. At least a few other Jedi who were adult members of the Order during the time of the Republic are believed to have survived to see
the fall of the Empire. Many dozens of Jedi survived Order 66, and many were able to train new students during the reign of the Empire.
Other Jedi became dark side practitioners, including the Inquisitors who had served the Sith. One Jedi Master became what is traditionally
known as a Dark Jedi, and trained others to form a new, heretical, dark Jedi Order, something that had also occurred several times in history.
The rise of this new society of Force wielders put pressure on the remaining Jedi to consider banding together and reforming the Jedi Order.

THE JEDI
New Republic Era Jedi
Although the Jedi no longer needed to hide from the galaxy-wide forces of the Empire, they had little security and largely kept a low-profile.
Anti-Jedi sentiment in the galaxy had largely been mollified by the key role a Jedi had played in overthrowing the Emperor, however this also
kept the Jedi as high profile targets for hardcore Imperials. The surviving members of the Jedi High Council had trained Luke Skywalker and
anointed him their successor in carrying on Jedi tradition, with instructions to teach others, and implicitly to begin rebuilding the Jedi Order.
Ahsoka Tano considered herself expelled from that Order, however her continued association with other Jedi and the New Republic made
her an ideal candidate for a new Jedi Council, until she became marooned on the planet Peridea in a distant galaxy. Ezra Bridger returned to
the galaxy from his exile there, and has taken Ahsoka's place working with the New Republic. Leia was trained by Luke as a Jedi as indicated in
Episode VI, and her leadership experience made her another ideal candidate to join a new Jedi Council. Grogu abandoned the Jedi, and
regardless would not have been old enough to even serve as a Jedi Knight for 30 or 40 years, at least. The whereabouts, plans, and attitudes
of other Jedi from the Republic or Imperial eras are not currently known. Known Jedi still living at the beginning of the New Republic era:
Luke Skywalker Ahsoka Tano Ezra Bridger Leia Organa Grogu

Temples
Most of the Jedi Order's temples and monastaries were destroyed by the Empire, with the exception of the Grand Temple on Coruscant,
which was used by the Emperor as his palace. What had since become of that structure is unknown. The Empire destroyed any known
Jedi temples throughout the galaxy as well as any which were discovered during their reign, however some of these are still important
sites despite lying in ruins. Some ancient Jedi sites like the Temple of Tython are still relatively functional. Luke Skywalker established
a new Jedi training school on the planet Ossus, which in ancient history had been a planet of great importance to the Jedi.

Vehicles
Individual Jedi were responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own equipment for the first time in a millennium during this era.
Some craft like T-series shuttles were probably chosen as they were historically used by the Jedi. Other craft were acquired through
their exploits, inherited from the Rebel Alliance, or were otherwise chosen because they were the best choice available.
Vehicles used by the Jedi during the New Republic era:
Starcraft

THE DARK JEDI
Dark Jedi Baylan Skoll
Baylan Skoll was a Jedi who survived Order 66, who at some point during the Imperial era became a Dark Jedi, which is a Jedi who
studies the dark side and attempts to use it. Often these individuals believed they could balance their light and dark natures, and
take advantage of the Force holistically. Baylan Skoll led an unidentified order of Dark Jedi, with Shin Hati as his apprentice.
She was a Force wielder who had been trained by Skoll as his apprentice the fall of the Order. Their order also included at least
one Dark Jedi Knight, Marrok, who seems to have been a former Imperial Inquisitor, however his true nature in this time period
is uncertain. They were, for a time, allies of Thrawn's allies, however their order was marooned on the planet Peridea in a distant
galaxy. This order was somewhat adversarial to the New Republic and the Jedi, however they were not obssessed with destroying
the Jedi as the Sith had been. Known Dark Jedi of the New Republic era:
Master Baylan Skoll Apprentice Shin Hati Marrok

Vehicles
The Dark Jedi used vehicles most likely acquired through their allies in the Imperial remnants.
