"The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in
the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes,
but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated."

This series is set decades before Episode I. As it is 'High Republic' material, it is not really compatable with Lucas canon,
and must be considered an alternate universe of some sort. The creators seem to have a confused concept of the Jedi and
other aspects of Lucas' universe, not to mention basic science, which further suggests this material does not fit within canon.
This is no great loss, however, since the story was terrible and was filled with plotholes and characters with confused motivations.

CURRENT INTEL (as of February 2025)
This series was released on 4 June 2024. It was officially cancelled due to its poor reception.
There has subsequently been some talk about reversing this decision, however that seems unlikely.
